About Us
The “Hortas do Rio” houses are located on the site of the same name, faithful to their rural origins.
From the time of the family of its original owners, who dedicated themselves to the land, to the cultivation of the vineyard, to their vegetable gardens and animals, the design, the straw roof tiles and the thatch were inherited, in harmony with the simplicity of this place, on Estrada da Praia, next to Ribeira da Carrapateira.
In addition to the privacy of the rooms, Hortas do Rio has a kitchen for breakfast, a common room with an honesty bar, a pool to cool off on hot days, and an outdoor area that invites you to take short strolls to the cool of the river.
